Director, Deputy Director and Head of Department, General Coordinator of the Doctorate in Sciences, Chief of the Conservation Medicine Laboratory, thesis director of 30 graduate and undergraduate students. Founding member of two associations. Lines of research on molecular diagnosis in wildlife and human health. Author of a 10-chapter book and various scientific papers (JCR).

The Eastern Pacific Leatherback Turtle Conservation Network started in 2012 when over thirty researchers, NGOs, and regional experts came together to develop an action plan to stabilize and restore the leatherback turtle population in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
