Marine Biologist from the University of Valparaíso and Master in Oceanography from PUCV-UV. Currently semi-senior researcher at the Fisheries Development Institute (IFOP) in the Department of Oceanography and Environment (DOMA) for the Monitoring of Highly Migratory Resource Fisheries with an Ecosystemic Approach. Member of the International Network of Incidental Catches and Discards (RedCID). Member of Minorities in Shark Sciences (MISS), and member of the Seabird Working Group for the National Action Plan to Reduce Incidental Catches of Seabirds in Fisheries of Chile. With more than 10 years in research and experience in biological sampling in the field in the northern, central and southern areas of Chile, additional experience in taxonomic analysis of benthic and planktonic components (zooplankton). In addition, extensive experience in analysis and interpretation of energy flows and trophic networks using biochemical tracers (δ13C, δ15 N, C: N). Experience in environmental consulting and monitoring for AMERBs through FAP, FFPA, FIP and FIPA projects. Connection with the environment through explora and with fishing coves through various social projects.
