Elizabeth is a Marine Biologist, and a specialist in rheophilic fish reproduction. She has been the Director of the Ecological Foundation Biomar A.C. She has identified sea turtle protection programs, turtle protection camps, or communities that contribute to these tasks, so that they receive the support resources Biomar has available in order to facilitate the operation of their projects, hoping to get better results each season, including the number of nests taken to shelter, the number of hatchlings released, an increase in the survival rate, a decrease in the loss of clutches due to natural predation or human consumption, greater stability of the actions and accommodation of the volunteers in the programs.

The Eastern Pacific Leatherback Turtle Conservation Network started in 2012 when over thirty researchers, NGOs, and regional experts came together to develop an action plan to stabilize and restore the leatherback turtle population in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
