Project research and coordination for the Equilibrio Azul Foundation. Her main work focuses on sea turtles, nesting beaches, aggregation and foraging sites, migration, photo-identification, and work with artisanal fishermen. With leatherback turtles, she works to reduce mortality in nets of the artisanal fishing fleets of Ecuador.

The Eastern Pacific Leatherback Turtle Conservation Network started in 2012 when over thirty researchers, NGOs, and regional experts came together to develop an action plan to stabilize and restore the leatherback turtle population in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
