Since becoming a professional, he has worked on sea turtle conservation projects and wildlife inventories in coastal marine areas. Currently, she coordinates the wildlife projects at FUNZEL, 5 of them are about sea turtles on the coast of El Salvador, coordinating the incubation work, hatchery management, turtle release events that involve public and private participation, fundraising of funds and projects for tagging adult turtles, as well as environmental education for tourists and people from the community.

The Eastern Pacific Leatherback Turtle Conservation Network started in 2012 when over thirty researchers, NGOs, and regional experts came together to develop an action plan to stabilize and restore the leatherback turtle population in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
