Alison has worked with FFI since 2004. She is responsible for supporting the development and the administration of a portfolio of projects within the FFI’s Americas and Caribbean Program, with Nicaragua as the main geographic focus. She provides technical support to field teams and partner organizations in integrated landscape management, climate adaptation planning, valuation of ecosystem services, biodiversity monitoring, and financial sustainability, as well as the conservation of species.

The Eastern Pacific Leatherback Turtle Conservation Network started in 2012 when over thirty researchers, NGOs, and regional experts came together to develop an action plan to stabilize and restore the leatherback turtle population in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
