Ecotourism engineer, currently Vice President of the Fundación Contamos Contigo Ecuador, and Director of the first turtle camp in Ecuador “Reina Laúd”. Since 2016, she leads groups of volunteers with awareness programs for the protection and rescue of sea turtles. She has more than 15 years of experience promoting ecotourism in Manabí, dabbling in the protection of sea turtles and their habitats, becoming an interpreter and environmental educator to involve coastal communities in the conservation of marine fauna.

The Eastern Pacific Leatherback Turtle Conservation Network started in 2012 when over thirty researchers, NGOs, and regional experts came together to develop an action plan to stabilize and restore the leatherback turtle population in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
